Screw Piles
Ground screw foundations for decks and walkways, with no digging or concrete.
Service
Ground screw foundations for decks and walkways, with no digging or concrete.
Screw piles, also known as ground screws, are galvanised steel piles wound into the ground by machine. There's no digging and no concrete to cure, so the piles can take load straight away and framing can start the same day.
They suit garden, sloping and hard-to-access sites, and leave very little spoil behind. Paired with our aluminium framing, screw piles give a strong, rot-proof foundation for tiled, timber or composite decks.

FAQs
Screw Piles questions
What are screw piles?
Galvanised steel piles, also called ground screws, wound into the ground by machine. They work as foundations for decks and walkways.
Why use them instead of concrete footings?
There's no digging and no concrete to cure. They can carry load as soon as they're in, so framing can start the same day, and they leave very little mess.
Which sites suit screw piles?
Sloping and garden sites, and anywhere that's hard to get to, where digging footings would be slow or difficult.
